>>873674Better going up than down. No synchro or anything, so you can jam/mash gears. Usually the dogs that engage between gears on the transmission stacks get rounded off, then they don't engage real nicely.
Crank/counterweight on the left, two trans stacks on the right. Shift drum is the shiny cored-out cylinder, shift forks are between trans stack and shift drum.
Clutch assy on the other side of the motor, between crank and forward trans stack. Countershaft sprocket sits on the rear shaft on this side. Shift star and lever pawl on the other side.
And that's just about everything in the bottom end of the motor. Nothing to it.
