>>1787293It's too hot in Texas. I just can't go /out/ anymore. I shouldn't have moved here, the north was so much better. It's ugly and brown and there are too many thorns, and I cannot live outside in 90 degree heat with high humidity. I went camping out east, car camping at a primitive spot - water filter broke and I had to leave the next day because I downed a gallon and a half in only 6 hours. I sweated it all out and was still dehydrated the next morning. Several times I had to hop into my car and fire it up so I could cool down in the A/C for a few. And while people like to flex with "hurrdurr at least we don't have skeeters and blackflies" they neglect to mention the gigantic fucking horseflies that replace them and chew holes in your flesh and are way harder to swat.
I can't go /out/ anymore brehs, not until it's autumn and begins to cool down again. I long for trout and ice-cold brooks and ancient mountains and pine forests, not this infernal heat and scrubland in central, or the humidity and bugs of the east.
