>>523283Just be realistic with these saws. They aren't meant for cutting huge fucked firewood or falling large trees. 5 inch diameter max(for your standard sized folding saws)You want a descent lockup of the blade so it's not moving around all over the place. The cheaper saws suck at this.
I've had a bahco now for around 6 months. It's seen some use as you see from the pic. I've used other cheaper saws in the past and they don't even compare. The bahco has a coating unlike other saws I've used in the past and I think it helps the blade glide through your cut making it easier. It's also quite rust resistant. I would have it in my blind bag for duck hunting and it would get wet and never rusted. This coating is starting to wear though. Lockup is solid and can sometimes be difficult to disengage to close but I would rather it be too hard than easy. It also blends in extremely well with the ground which can be bad at times.
The silky saws also interested me because you could get different teeth sizes if you want.
