MEC Tarn 2
Pictured here along the Ottawa River in Quebec.
Bought it on clearance at MEC in 2014 as an upgrade from shitty Canadian Tire tents for car camping.
Some of the best 200$ I've ever spent, this tent is fucking perfect.
The entry is large and vented, so you can cook in it or store all your gear.
The rain fly still functions perfectly after 6 years and hundreds of nights.
Actually fits two people comfortably.
Zero rips, tears, seams and zippers are still going strong.
Sets up and takes down fast, not ultra-light but reasonable, and can be packed down pretty small, even with the fly and footprint.
Unfortunately it was discontinued the year I bought it, so when it finally dies on me my heart is going to break.
