>>2596697Well not what you asked, but it is a flashlight thread. The Streamlight ProTac 1L 1AA, it can use either one AA battery or one CR123 battery, making it easy to find batteries for it anywhere you go. Lumens are horribly overrated, what really matters is the candela, and the candela to lumens ratio. The problem with lights that have a lot of lumens but have weak batteries or weak candela is that they aren't bright past a few yards. Lumens are corporate sales points and most people simply don't understand what a lumen is.
This ProTac I have is only 350 lumens but the candela more than enough makes up for it. I have used it to detect wildlife a bit past 50 yards. For a small 2.5oz flashlight (weight includes battery) that's all I need. Also a 14 hour battery life constantly on low makes it a long lasting flashlight, I use my light quite a bit in my line of work and in my home and replace the battery every few months which is a hell of a lot better and more practical. I wish it had a moonlight mode for when I'm hiking/camping and for even more extended battery life.
