This spot is one of AT&T's old microwave relay towers. They fucking built these things to last too, especially the towers that were part of AUTOVON or SAGE.
There's thousands of em, you can find basically complete maps of the network online, and they're also everywhere except the south east.
With that said, the towers in regions that aren't very mountainous are usually only a few stories tall and ain't very exciting.
This specific tower was almost certainly part of AUTOVON and is in the Appalachians so its about 8 or 9 stories and fucking built.
