Hey so I'm mainly a saltwater fisherman but I've been getting into freshwater this year, mainly targeting trout and bass. I currently have a 6' and 6'6" Ugly Stik with basic Eagle Claw reels and I want to upgrade. I have Daiwa/Shimano stuff for my saltwater gear so I'm very familiar with brands and brand quality but I'm not sure where to start for freshwater stuff? What would you recommend for two freshwater rods and reels, one baitcasting and one spinning? No combos, I'll buy each individually. I can do one piece up to 7' but am completely okay with two or three piece rods as well. I'll be going for trout and bass, but the areas I fish also have panfish and pike which I might hook by accident.
