For me its
> light green - shrubs etc> medium green - young pines> darker with more sahdow - more mature trees (where i wanna camp)Try to think of how places that suck would look from the sky and avoid them, for example rivers with wide coastline filled with light shades of green usually mean shrubs/grass and shitloads of mosquitoes.
Check out places you have been and liked, look for similar terrain/vegetation.
Pick a place thats remote or around auxilary roads that no one sane would use to get from point a to b.
