It might cost a little money, but if money is an issue put 10 or 20 bucks to the side a week and before you know it you can go hunting. For the feral hogs I've been shooting I found a faith based hunting group that takes me for 150 bucks. I'm not spiritually on the exact same page as the guy as he's a bit extreme, but he did show me what to look for with pigs and showed me how to field dress that son of a bitch.
