Treat it like an extended closet and you're fine. I find stuff I really like and don't return them more often than not, but especially with shoes don't feel bad returning them. There's a lot of pajeets that go to mine and waste a lot of money, but often the store is pretty quiet and boring. I first visited one in 2015 when I needed equipment to live outdoors for my summer camp job, didn't hose me and I still use most of the stuff I've bought from them
