you need to understand land ownership here can mean 5acres of housing, barn, garden, parking with 300acres of gras/farmland surrounding that with 200 acres of forest and somewhere in the mountains 30min drive away another 500acres of basicly nothing that was traditionally used for summer foraging for goats, cows and sheep.
come hiking into the first two and you will be threated with the same attitude as you have, thats our private property so piss off. come into the last two and we tell you our secret fishing spots and where its nice to camp. why would we give up this in favour or goverment control?
