>>159338>I never claimed to be a prepper. I have some emergency items and a bug out bag just in case some shit happens.>I have a gun for home protections, and a few other guns that are pretty much range toys.>I know how to hunt, and I like to hike and go camping. That's about the extent of it.>I just like making fun of preppers... especially the really stupid ones. Are you me?
>be keeping 5gal cans of water in the basementlol, I've got a 40-gallon hot water heater that's constantly refreshing. Something happens, I'll shut off the inlet supply. *bam*... 40 gallons of fresh water.
>Gas masks for the family, NBC's, smoke grenadesRight, like you'll -ever- need that. Cinch down that tinfoil hat a little tighter.
Things like firestarting, basic survival, having some first aid equipment, personal defense... common sense! Two-way radios in my pack and truck because phones don't work deep innawoods and innamountains, and amateur radio is kinda fun sometimes.
I've got a good supply of fuel (just topped off today, close to $200 later, I've got another few months supply of 91 non-ethanol) because of the hobbies/activities I participate in - Snowmobiling and motorcycling. Easier to top off my fuel jugs once every few months and work off those rather than going to a gas station every week. Especially when the closest places that have 91-non-ethanol are 9 miles away.
I've got camp gear, tent, sleeping bag, batteries/chargers, generator, camp stove, and a few propane bottles in the garage... not because I'm a prepper, it's because in the winter i'm fucking using it every weekend.
