But anyway, it's not my usual daypack but holy crap was it nice to haul my recording gear. I took my mountainbike so having the hip belt and a semi frame supporting the pack of the pack was fucking awesome. I'll probably continue to use it for all my expeditions from now on.
Those birds are called "bellbirds" apparently, and they only live high in the trees around Brown's Waterhole. Lovely spot.
Heh, frogs are such dickbags. I huddled down in a really inhospitable spot once and not much happened, and as I was packing up finally around 10pm the little pepes started up. Maybe someday.
