This will be my first year at attempting gardening and I am going to going with raised beds.
I am making my bed pretty much like the one in the pic. The only difference would be that I am only only going two blocks high and no cap stones on it. That will give me about 16 inches of depth.
Now, what I am wondering is should I maybe split the blocks up and do two 8 inch deep beds? I am not planning on growing any root vegetables.
