>>1490021Don't worry about it. A common mentality seems to be that you need to fill out some checklist before you can start going out. There's no packing list or course requirements to go out. Just do it. You learn as you go and build confidence by having a good time out.
I'm married but I still go out solo camping now and then because my wife doesn't like sucking in the rain and mountains as much as I do. I just make sure she knows where I am and call every few hours to confirm I'm not dying in a ravine or broke and bones.
