Beautiful river with rather surprisingly clear water, very clean in most parts of the river. Plenty of little waterfalls sprinkled across the river. Quiet as can be, especially early mornings. All you need is a pair of waders or boots and you can get around easily. Parts of the river do suffer from debris congestion (which look foul (especially when the river is down))
I suspect that somewhere along the river is a beaver as I often find many devoured branches/trees as I move along the river fishing.
Fishing is good, though I've had a rather long spell of bad luck. River is consistently restocked by state fishery. Mostly trout, some crawfish if you have a keen eye.
