>>517477The main thing is a durable fixed knife or folder sak/multitool with wood saw and even better with backup metal saw (dry wood is tough shit m8) too. It will help you to get wood for fire, to make dish for water boiling using birch bark and even, if you're skilled enough, to get a fire. Steel must be kinda soft to sharpen it outdoors using random stones. But much better if you have a reliable lighter. I always carry three things in my both backpacks and pockets. The third thing is money.
