A lot of people use a double layer of plastic with about a pencil's width of air space between them at most, for the colder times and winter.
Check out, "polytunnels," or, "hoop house," they are super easy to make and the cheapest thing you can make for a greenhouse or mini-greenhouse.
>>1280269Water it properly and give it some liquid fertilizer once a month in spring and summer. Let it climb up a pole/trellis covered with coconut coir fiber. The soil needs to be well draining of course. Transplant it into a slightly larger pot every 2 years. Use a spray bottle to mist the leaves from time to time.
