for me, i loved hammock camping all throughout like 2018-2019
took them all season and then just lived with a bit of water in my lungs in the morning, happens in some of my tents too no biggie
until one time i woke up bu having abruptly sit up in the hammock, probably sleepwalking, i do that, and then falling sideways
thankfully i could get my hands the the side of my head before hitting straigt onto a granite boulder
was then "trapped" in the hammock, disorientated, neck down-ass up looking for the zipper
wish i had a knife
big hole in the netting any way after
thankfully i just took my sleeping bag and pad out, and went over to the shelter where my Dad and GF was sleeping
lit the fire and went to sleep
but it definitely was an experiance for me, and tought me that realistically, hammock camping is not fail-safe, it could, in worst case, be fail-deadly
>pic not that trip
