Deadly accurate and lightning fast. They tend to be more expensive but if you're going to use them to hunt you want to guarantee yourself a clean kill out of respect for the animal. Deer are tougher than you would think a well placed arrow at around 300 fps is what it takes to take him down. A 35 pound recurve is just going to turn him into a walking pin cushion. Get yourself a compound bow. I shoot xpedition but there are many others out there.
