To piggy back off this, anyone have experience with Big Agnes? I have one of their really wide pads as no other company makes one wide enough for me to comfortably sleep on ( I am 6'4, 240lbs) and it has worked out great. I am getting into backpacking now versus just car camping to fish my spots (moved to the PNW and some great fishing spots require me to hike a day or so into) and my current giant Cabela's sleeping bag won't work.
Pic related is the one I want as it fits 30" wide pads and is cut huge. It is expensive but I have a pro deal with them for 40% off. I don't mind spending good money on a sleeping bag, and will take any recs for sleeping bags I can backpack with (so MAX 6 lbs) and will fit large men like myself.
