It's all braid so from time to time the first couple yards get chewed up from fishing and transport or whatever so I need to cut some off. The SpiderWire rods I see noticeable fraying after a handful of trips while the same shit happens to the PowerPro rods once every 6mos.

>>956437Smaller baits. Channel cats, just gotta find the spot. I'm a fan of the sticky dip bait that comes in jars. You need special rigs for the dip bait but they sell em almost everywhere. Otherwise you can always just cast some nightcawlerd and see what is actually in the lake. The last few channel cats I have gotten were on nightcrawlers on the bottom.
