>>242601nah, it's just straight aluminum. I use it to boil water and then mix the food or coffee in the cup. some people wrap them in fiberglass twine so they can grab it off the stove. I just use the bandanna. the GSI cup and the bottle carrier are really just dead weight in the long run but, I like the convenience.
I also have a Ti Spork for the purposes of trolling /out/ but, I generally carry a plastic spork from the Taco Bell on the corner. I make a spoon if I get bored.
