>>2510072>some feral cat that just showed up and took up residence in a barn is now not a feral cat. And no true Scotsman puts sugar on his oats. What exactly qualifies a cat as Feral, or wild to you?
And I never talked about parking lot turkeys.
>a pug is as close to a wolf as a feral cat is to a bobcatI'd actually bet 20 bucks that it genetically is. His point (I assume) is was that the fact they can hybridize and hunt like a felid (big surprise) means cats can take turkeys. Bobcats can also take deer. Someone in this thread is probably stupid enough to think a feral cat can take a deer.
Nevermind the fact that their hybridization is unconfirmed by science. (I personally believe they can) and it is not known if the resulting offspring are fertile or not.
Whereas a wolf and any breed of dog can hybridize and have fertile offspring. And will form packs and hunt in a similar manner without humans.
A pug could generally not take rabbit like a wolf, because it is too small.
Just like a cat generally could not take a turkey like a bobcat. It is too small.
