>>1304877Entire hike followed the shores of the lake. The geography was pretty varied; we started in a very heavily forested area that gave way to a more arid, grassy terrain. It crossed seven creeks, and the areas around the creeks were very lush and completely overgrown with raspberries and wildflowers. Near the end it went through a lot of wildfire burn areas from a huge fire in '99, with lots of completely burnt out trees that looked ready to be blown over at any moment.
