>>561278My setup. Just came from my first hammock camping experience. Far enough innawoods where there was no man-made noise except for a dirt road nearby where 2-3 people would pass by a day. Had everything but my hammock straps (which hopefully arrive this week). Cold enough at night to see my breath, mid to high 70s during the day. On both nights I had the heebeegeebees for about a half hour before I got comfortable because I didn't have the psychological protection of tent walls, but I got over it. No bug net, just used repellent instead. I was pleasantly surprised! My groundpad and sleeping bad kept me warm at night, and gently swaying was oddly comfortable. The experience was very pleasant, I'm definitely going to hammock camp much more often. Whole setup in pic was about $30.
