Shadows are from two huge pine trees. One is to the southwest of the house about fifty feet, one is to the southeast about fifty feet. Honestly they cut my solar power throughout the day about in half even in mid summer. Winter was Hell. Had to buy a cheap generator to make up for the low levels of sun. With the battery bank, I'd just run it for two hours and have three days of power though.
>>2583589Cooking is done mostly on a Weber and an old wood stove. The stove was originally meant for heat, but it isn't really a controlled burner. It tends to run fast and hot, and I ain't trying to cook myself in a tiny shack.
