>>2053914Yeah that's because most Googans don't know that the mainly Mono holds memory to the spool its coming off of so the line needs to go on the reel the way the line is coming off the spool. Another thing you can do is take the reel spool off after and put the reel spool with the new line in warm water this will help reform the line memory. Mono sucks anyways better off getting a braid line that matches the water color you plan to fish a lot. Also braid is a lot liter and you can get more line on the reel.
