Some river otters are destroying the fish population in my gf's grandma's pond and she wants them gone. I checked with the local authorities and I'm all good to shoot them, but I've never shot an otter before. How does one go about harvesting its meat and pelt? I've heard their pelts are very nice and I wouldn't want to waste the meat.
