General advice? Get good at judging how far apart you need trees to be-you usually have about 2-3 feet of room for error, so it's not a big deal, but picking trees too far apart can lead to bum-on-the-ground syndrome. You can smoke in them, but be careful, and have an ashtray. Other than that, learn how to peg the thing down, in case of inclement weather. Also, set up in sheltered spots if the weather looks bad. (A nalgene with a rope and a carabiner works great for weighing down the fly if necessary. )
