I went on a hike a few weeks ago where I saw about 10-15 cairns all in the same spot right off a well marked trail. Obviously it wasn't just one hiker who did this, but a number of passing hikers who decided that they would add their little dingleberry to the shit lake. Me and my girl kicked every single one over then scattered the rocks into the forest. It felt euphoric, and the forest thanked us with a beautiful hike that day.
