I'll sleep mainly in huts which are plenty on the main trail, about every 10 km. The are open, but i'm dry if it should rain.
I have a ground sheet (some old german army thing), a foldable closed cell foam mat (which i can really recommend) and my old McKinley three season sleeping bag, which i bought in 1996 when i made a tour through france to see the comet Hale Bopp.
I also have a very light bivvy sack, which i probably don't need. The sleeping bag has lost almost all it's loft, but is still warm enough.
