Stray dogs may force you to kill them.
It is not unreasonable to begin despising them over time for inconveniencing and scaring you, putting you on lookout every time your birds start loudly calling. That's called being a human, no matter your feelings on animal equality. That is a strain on your emotions.
OP clearly enjoys a good reputation of being kind to animals. His neighbor brought him a baby duck because she thinks it will be safer with him. (the ignorance of moving a baby duck notwithstanding)
Even if OP hated pitbulls in the extreme, the replies in this thread would not be reasonable. The refusal to give some charity to others is a great crime, and you should really learn that. Many of you are severely in the wrong and need to learn how to love others. I am being sincere.
