I was outside playing with my brother after dark when I was maybe 7 and we saw a meteor shriek across the sky right down into the woods and there was this blueish flash.
That summer we scoured the woods all the time trying to find the meteorite but we never found anything. It's impossible to tell how far away something like that lands, you kind of just see it come down into the horizon and guessing within a mile is probably impossible. I had so many dreams and fantasies about finding that meteorite :[
