People tend to band together. Though, a lot of that has to do with education and their disaster system in place. They have shelters where everyone must band together in and are constantly teaching the children as a cohesive group. That makes a huge difference with out the social aspects play out during a natural disaster. It is a model that should be looked at more closely for other communities around the world.
