>>2024264You know there's a wonderful material known as wool which can keep you warm even when wet right?
I never wear anything but wool socks personally. They can get terribly dirty quickly, but they're the best material out there when it comes to keeping your piggies warm.
>>2024255I wear collared shirts and pants all year long.
I also tuck my pants in my socks to prevent ticks from crawling up my legs. If my clothes are too much for me I tend to wear socks that can be hiked up to calf length, so I roll my pants up and pull my socks up and roll them into the pants or pull them over the lip of the rolled pantleg and tuck them into the top of the lip. Likewise with an undershirt and a collared shirt I can always remove or roll up my sleeves if i really need to. Better to have the coverage and not need it, than need the coverage and not have it. I also live in Maine and the bugs here in the summertime can be overwhelming in the woods. Mosquitos, black flies, ticks...
It may be hot, but I'd rather be hot than covered in bug bites.
