On a side note my friend who is not a bush craft kinda person and basically collects swords, large knives, exc. and he has a tanto knife he used to always carry with him on our hikes or w/e. It wasnt a terrable knife, it got most things done in a pinch just not my preffered choice. Then he actually found a large traditional style tanto that was well made and started carrying that. Now i think the smallest knife he carries is about 18 inches lol
