I service all of my cheaper reels, the expensive reels get sent in for servicing. the korean reel is a 2 speed and has a drag that is pressed to fit into the plates. you also need a service tool to pull the shields and pawl. how many 2 speed levers have you taken apart? what color of cals do you use on your drag washers? what machine do you use to press fit the drags so they are flat and have no variance? The reel repair master himself (a.t) said he wouldnt touch it because of those very things.
thats the reason why i send reels to be serviced every season.
