>>467279take the Art Loeb/Mountains-to-Sea off to the left of the road that leads to the Parking lot. follow it until it splits up, and follow the MTS until it, again, splits off. follow the other fork where you will intercept a paved path to the top of Devil's Courthouse. almost panoramic views. retrace your steps, there was a split in the trail with a large rock & a campsite, follow the trail through the campsite and continue following it until you merge with another trail. take the uphill route back to the parking lot and back to your car.
huge stands of Spruce/Fir, huge, looming cliffs, Appalachian Meadows, creek crossings with pools, its a loop that has turned many friends into aspiring Muirs.
