Normally phone is your number one live saving item because you can call emergency services and your location can be tracked, you can receive gov alerts, contact your loved ones, check news and weather.
With the power down it can still be very useful:
Radio - wire headphones or just any 3,5mm cord you can listen to broadcasts (including weather & emergency)
Two light sources (flashlight and screen) You can even create/display red picture for better concealment
Maps. Majority of map apps like google automatically downloads your basic area map to be used offline. And if the GPS satelites are still broadcasting you can see your location
Phone number list to your loved ones
Using camera to document things (as memo or proof)
Alarm clock and calculator
Some people "prep their phone" with specialized maps, survival guides apps etc. I tend not to. What I did is prepared microsd cards with files to be used in any phone in case my got damaged or I can't charge it. My content is picrel
