It was made from an exact macro photo of his iris, with a dark cavity for the pupil and has thin red fibre set into the resin to mimic veins, so it’s incredibly realistic and accurate. Might turn it into a necklace so he can come with me, but I’d be devastated if I lost it - I believe in keeping physical relics of your ancestors, would have kept his skull and femurs for my children to inherit but dad wanted a cremation. He appears in my dreams, face somewhat skeletal and primordial, laying next to me on the ground when I’m out camping, staring into my soul with his piercing pale blue eye.
Probably won’t tell grils it’s my dead dad’s eye, instead I’ll say it’s from Great Frog lol
