I know you're probably anti-drug considering your original post, but alcohol and drugs can lead to incredible experiences in the wilderness. I wouldn't recommend psychedelics like

Otherwise you should go with a friend, or bring a flashlight and explore at night, or simply bask in the beauty of the wilderness.
