Consider reading up a little on the topic, formulating your thoughts out properly and then posting a more thought out plan for what you want to do, then have people with more experience give their input on this plan.
This would both signal that you are willing to put in effort yourself and lead to a more productive thread most likely as it would give the other people in the thread something to analyze.
