my hometown (in New England) is about 350yrs old and we have some stuff like that too, it's always crazy to look back at 1800s pics and see what it used to be like.
Google streetview related. This house has had this gigantic brick chimney in the backyard forever. Turns out it was a (wooden) textile mill that burned down in like 1902 and the chimney has stood ever since. The guy who owns the property has campfires in the chimney with his grandkids and they cook marshmallows and shit, it's fucking great.
