I got a bunch of cardboard from a local grocer that has turned out to have a thin wax coating on it. This is the kind that shipping containers with vegetables come in.
A kind fellow above pointed out the viability of using worms and mushrooms to breakdown the cardboard quicker; will the wax coating serve as a barrier in composting or reduce the rate of decomposition?
And a stupid question, but would the high temps of a properly cooking compost pile kill or harm the existing worms?
