Having said that, surviving off of foraging alone could take a novice outdoorsman 100% of there daylight hours.
Foraging plants, fruits, vegetables, roots, hunting, fishing for meat should be supplemental.
Aside from that, living outdoors on the move, inna woods for any extended period is going to be much the same requirements as a week long backpacking trip except you need to resupply every week or so because you can only carry so much weight. unless you have pack animals but that brings with it a whole nother set of contingencies.
Looking into how people conquer a complete through-hike on the Appalachain Trail or the Pacific Coast Trail would give us some pointers on extend traveling and the logistics of the necessary resupplying.
Again, unless you're in the Siberian wilderness or some remote backcountry of Alaska or Canada, your hunting and foraging off the land may be severely restricted by regulations.
