Four more days of unusual late summer here before it gets cold, still got a few watermelons on the vines, the everbearing strawberries keep producing, and my tabasco pepper keeps ripening more and more fruits, probably got half a kilo of fresh fruit from a single plant so far this year

I'm in cool summer 8a, but the peach trees my grandparents brought from Mallorca (dry summer zone 10/11) only really ripen well in good summers here, and are very sensitive to rain. A too rainy summer, or May/June cold spells, and they will drop most of their fruits early
