>>1893812This. As a teenager, walking to my deer blind in the pitch dark was a scary experience. Partly because I was afraid of tripping and falling, which never happened, and partly because I knew for a fact that the local cougar and herds of feral pigs could see just fine in the dark.
As an adult, it doesn't bother me because I've reached the point where I accept that the scariest thing in the deep, dark woods is me.
