>>2183551I'd recommend this instead of the F1
Better airflow, same kind of A-frame, and dead cheap. Condensation can be a problem with A-Frame tens.
https://www.rivercountryproducts.com/product/trekker-tent-2-2/With any cheap tent I'd throw in a small cheap tarp. Like these from Canadian tire.
https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/woods-waterproof-lightweight-camping-tarp-green-3-m-x-2-m-0762960p.html#srpTo use as either extra protection above, or to be used as a ground sheet for protection below.
Make any tent more adaptable.
>>2183558I'm also a leaf.
You might want to try a bivy+tarp. I currently use an MSR Elixir 2 person tent, and it's great, but I'm trying to move towards cowboy camping or bivy + tarp + bug net/mask
>>2183568This is what I'm trying to do.
OP, if you're trying to do this you can get Bivy sacks like this
https://www.atmosphere.ca/categories/gear-by-activity/camp-hike/tents/bivy-sacks-tarps/product/outdoor-research-alpine-bivy-332231708.htmlThat have a full close, net close, and open zipped head.
That bivy is made from goretex, which is pretty good, nice and tough.
The big problem with bivy sacks is condensation.
You can also get ultralight ones likes this
https://borahgear.com/sidebivy.htmlThat have a sidezip and bug net on the face part. Would pair well with a tarp.
>>2183604You could just pair a lean to with hat + bug net that goes over your head.
