Probably won't be an issue. Make plenty of noise and you'll probably spook them. If you hear rattling, stop, look for the source, and calmly go the other way.

You could tuck your shit in if you want but realistically ticks are only a problem if you don't get them off within a day or two. I once got absolutely covered in them as a kid, mom made me bathe with dog shampoo. I turned out alright imo.
